About the Author Eve Galanis is a historian, educator, writer, and performance artist based in Connecticut. Publications include the University of Alabama’s Crimson Review, The University of Montana, and Connecticut Humanities. She has presented her research at historical conferences including Yale University’s Ethnic Studies Symposium and the National Council on Public History. She specializes in Connecticut’s LGBTQ+ and 20th century medical history. She has taught World History, American History and Philosophy at Classical Magnet School in Hartford. She is currently pursuing her Masters at Trinity College in American Studies.
